House Of Bowls

If you haven't been to House of Bowls in Houston, are you even a true Houstonian? Make sure to order the chicken wings early because they take a bit longer to come out (I highly recommend the scallion ones), followed by the Fook Kin Fried Rice (saucy rather than traditional), and finish off with the Pork Creamy Corn on Rice.

After undergoing a dental procedure, I needed to eat soft food. We decided to try the shrimp and egg sauce entree at this restaurant, but were disappointed. The dish was watery and lacked flavor, and at $22.95, it was overpriced for the small portion of only about 12 shrimp. When we asked the server about the dish, they refused to make any changes since it was our choice to order it. I do not recommend this dish. However, we have had good experiences with their chicken wings and water spinach in the past, although they have recently raised their prices. I would suggest avoiding dishes with egg sauce at this restaurant.
