Chongqing Chicken Pot

The food is very delicious yet affordable, but what's even more impressive is the level of professional service and genuine care from the waitstaff a rarity for Chinatown restaurants. Thank you 重庆鸡公煲 for the perfect dining experience!

Price wise, it is really reasonable at about $22 for a medium chicken pot. The chicken was flavorful and I really like the idea of turning your chicken pot into a hotpot once you are done. One thing to consider though, once broth is added to the chicken pot, it also starts boiling the oil and grease with it, so the flavors become more intense and you end up consuming much of the oil that you normally won’t. The ingredients were fresh and the bone in chicken itself was amazing. The sauce bar had a good selection my go it is always the sesame sauce. I’ll recommend it for the taste and flavor but be a little wary if you are watching your health. The bingfen was amazing though, I’ll highly recommend it. The servers were really courteous and service was fast and I’m glad they open until 11 for those late night cravings.

Its hot pot but initially they serve a sautéed meat in hot pot bowl and once most of the meat has been consumed; they add in a bunch of diluted chicken broth into bowl and then its a traditional hot pot with all the sides fish balls.They also have a sauce bar to make your own sauce for dipping hot pot stuff in (mmmmm fish balls)Not what I was expecting but pleasantly suprised.

Their food is pretty special. They will sever you with a dry stew pot and you cab order them to add the soup anytime to make it to hotpot. This is a great experiment for me any my friend. I highly recomend this place.

Horrible customer service!!!! They have many tables available, we have 4 people dine in, they force my 1.5 year old baby the sit next to the pot in a small table. They said it is not their liability to keep the child from burning, and they save the big table for more people.
