225 Bbq Etc - Thayne

This is a fantastic little spot in the center of Thayne. I enjoyed a delicious gyro during my recent visit. On my previous visit, I had the chicken Caesar salad, which was also excellent.

Best brisket sandwich I?ve ever had. These guys know BBQ! Driven by a number of times and stopped for first time today. Definitely a must if passing through to Jackson! Also super friendly staff and the cheesecake is great!

First, the beans were up. I couldn't detect any smoky flavors at all; they tasted more like BBQ sauce, almost as if they were enhanced with liquid smoke. The macaroni tasted like standard Velveeta cheese sauce—just very basic, without any distinct flavors. Lastly, the meats were disappointing as well. Both the brisket and pork lacked depth and flavor, reminding me of bland, unseasoned meat. Overall, it didn’t meet my expectations based on the reviews.

I can only say "wow!" We ordered generous portions of prime rib, pulled pork, and brisket, accompanied by beans, potato salad, and toast for a wedding rehearsal dinner. The food was incredibly delicious, and the portion sizes were impressive. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for barbecue in the area!

Was told better than KC BBQ! Having just worked there, this was not the case! It was good , but I would compare to your average home BBQer! Edit: tried again today! Better but brisket was chopped and I asked for sliced! I was told by a KC competitor that if brisket is chopped, it was not properly cooked!
