Amazing experience! Burgers are perfect, onion rings homemade, sweet potato fries delicious and then some ingenious chicken wings / thighs to complete it!

We have been passing this place for years. My daughter and I had lunch here and it was fantastic! Started with fried mushrooms. Omg! Best I have ever had. My daughter ordered grilled chicken sandwich and regular fries. I ordered mushroom swiss burger and fresh cut fries. We shared plates and each was absolutely delicious! Both kinds of fries were phenomenal. The chicken was seasoned nicely and juicy. The burger was medium rare as ordered and had great flavor. I will not pass this again! Casual atmosphere with many big screens and a variety of sports. The food alone is worth it. It looks like a fully stocked bar too. I was pleasantly surprised when the bill came! So worth it!

While recently visiting Safford, we took my 87 year old Mom to JD's for dinner and she loved this place. The food was very good, the customer service was excellent and it was a fun, family friendly pub. We went back three evenings in a row for drinks and snacks. This was the most friendly bar/restaurant we experienced in Arizona. I wish there was a cool local place like this in our home state. I would recommend JD's Grill House to anybody traveling or visiting the area.

This place has the looks and feel of a dive bar, but my bar tender was super efficient and friendly. I'm pretty restricted on what I can eat, so I'm happy to report that it's entirely possible to order a piece of grilled meat and veggies with nothing else added. The meats: the grilled chicken was outstanding, the grilled fish was perfectly grilled with crispy edges and moist centers, but a little saltier than I like, so thumbs up here. The cooked veggies I got the first time I ate here were absolutely awful- overcooked and flavor wise completely inedible. Fortunately, this meal also comes with a trip to the salad bar, where there are plenty of fresh and tasty veggies with several different choices of dressing, including my favorite, oil and vinegar, so the second time I skipped the cooked veggies and just went for that salad bar for a completely positive experience. I like sitting at the bar, and the bar staff is good. Efficient, friendly, helpful. The prices are very reasonable. Definitely someplace I'd eat again.
