Marine Sands Family - Thanet

My husband and I enjoyed a delicious meal at this restaurant. The gnocchi was very tasty and the view of the sea and the sunset was absolutely stunning. The staff were friendly and attentive. We recommend booking in advance, especially on a sunny evening.

We had the best doughnuts at this cute cafe. I unfortunately left my purse outside but it was found by the staff and returned to me by the manager James. I can't thank them enough for this and it reminded me that there are still honest, decent people. When in Margate again we will definitely return to this cafe.

What a shame, this place is in an ideal location, serves good food but the staff including manager let this place down. We were sat outside and had paid and eaten our food we had bought at the cafe. When we asked to use the toilet for a 4 year old child in our group we were met by rude and aggressive staff, in particular the manager. I understand not being able to access the toilets if you are not a paying customer but when you have spent money at a place surely one child should be able to use the toilet. We have visited Margate for the past 2 years and always buy from this cafe, never again! Do not recommend this place unless you want a mouth full of abuse with your chips.

This restaurant has two sections: one for takeout and the other for seated customers. The waitress provided warm and inviting service from start to finish. It is a wonderful spot to enjoy a coffee and relax in either the upper seating area or the sun-soaked lower section. The menu offers a great variety of food at reasonable prices. A hidden gem in Margate!
