Blue Lagoon Grill Lago Mar - Texas City

We’re visiting from CA for medical reasons and dined here our first night. The food and service were excellent. He had a wonderful dining experience!

I've been several times for lunch or dinner. This time we went to Sunday brunch! Everyone loved their food. I had the avocado toast with eggs and bacon. My husband and daughter loved their creole omelet. We sat out on the patio overlooking the lagoon. Waitress was excellent!

I’ve heard so many good things about this restaurant and I was so disappointed. The food and drinks were disgusting. The service was awkward. We had one server and then it switched to another and then another. And the atmosphere was so quiet it made dinner awkward as well.

Our group all enjoyed the food! We had mahi-mahi tacos, chicken pasta, steak quesadillas, tuna croissant. The finishing touch was date nut rum cake with ice cream toffee topping!! Great atmosphere easy access with scooter for friend with broken leg.

Outside dining was difficult due to live music being way too loud for such a small area. However, we asked to be moved indoors and were accomodated with no issue. The food was excellent. It took a while but the wait was well worth it. Our server, Jordan, was wonderful. She was attentive without hovering. She was very friendly and her recommendations were spot on. Thank you for a great experience. I will be back.
