Lafogata Grill - Texarkana

The food was enjoyable, but the service was very poor. It took a long time to receive our drinks, which were non-alcoholic, and I never received a refill. My son's Sprite was basically just carbonated water, and the server never brought a replacement, even though he was sitting at the bar near our table. The restaurant was not busy, with only one or two other tables occupied. The server was unfriendly and never smiled at anyone. It was disappointing to bring my family from out of town for a meal and have this be their experience at the restaurant.

I will never return to this restaurant. We waited for 2 hours to eat, only for everything to arrive cold and half of our order was incorrect. The female manager was extremely rude and dismissive. When we requested to speak to a higher manager to address the situation, we were told he was too busy to speak with us. This was our first and last visit to this establishment.

Beautiful terrace, cheap location for our journey through texarkana. I enjoyed the a la carte fajita rinderquesadilla, my man had a cheese enchilada (not much taste) a side of chorizo that was excellent. good salsa, too. try again many options on the menu; service was attentive.

I almost missed this place and when I noticed the sign, I thought it looked sketched out. I went in reluctantly to see if it looked better, and it was safe. there is an outside area and an inside area to eat and we decided to go inside. my son asks for horchata any restaurant we go to, and he is usually said no. Once again he was told that there was no one and he ordered water instead. a few minutes later, another server that heard my son ask and his subsequent disappointment, brought my son a glass horchata. that is the reason why they get 5 stars. don't get me wrong, the whole personal was kind, but this man went over and beyond for my child. the food was also delicious. If I'm ever in the opposite, I'm back.

La Fogatas is nestled just a little easy once you exit Genoa Rd. It's a neat little Mexican Bar and Grill. The wait staff today was very nice and very helpful for our big party of individuals. The food was quick to come out and it was hot and fresh. The lunch menu between 11am 4pm is very affordable. Today I for the lunch Chimichanga with double rice and it was very filling. The salsa is not bad. Could use a little more heat for me but was tasty. The guacamole was fresh and tasted very good but it had lettuce in it which threw me off. But it wasn't enough to ruin the taste. Overall it was a good experience and I would be happy to go back. Give them a try if you are in the neighborhood.
