Mumbai Brasserie - Test Valley

I placed an order at a restaurant after receiving a text message for 30% off, but they did not honor the discount. I have been trying to reach out to them, but have not received a response yet.

Very disappointing. The food is luke warm. The onion baji's are inedible. Cold, chewy and tasteless. The Naans are thin, limp and cold. Not good considering it cost nearly twice as much as we usually pay from our favourite Chinese takeaway in the town. Last time we ever order from here.

The restaurant is very good on safety in the current times. Sanitiser available , all staff wore masks . Service very good.food delicious.came on Eat out to help out , busy but because of 2 floors , plenty of space. and felt safe. Very good value. And will definitely come again.

Be careful of your providing your mobile number. Since going I get texts from them offering deals etc and no way of an opt out. Pretty sure this isn’t in line with my rights under the DPA! Wouldn’t ever order again

We used to frequent Mumbai Brasserie back when it was known as Mumbai Thai. We were big fans of the restaurant and their takeout service, always our first choice for takeout. However, in the past year, our experience with their takeout service has been consistently disappointing. Despite loving the food, we have had to wait nearly 2 hours each time we placed an order, prompting us to call after an hour to inquire about our order. Each time, we were told that our order had just left the kitchen, only to find out later that it hadn't even been cooked yet. Today, after waiting for an hour past the estimated 30-minute wait time, we called the restaurant to find out about our order, only to be told that they couldn't locate it. After insisting that we had a confirmation email and that payment had been taken, we were eventually informed that our food had not been cooked yet. We finally received our dinner at 7:45 pm, and upon unpacking it, we discovered that it had clearly been rushed as sauces and salads were missing. It is possible that had we not called to follow up on our order, we may not have received anything at all. This will be the last time we order from this restaurant. Their unprofessionalism, disappointment, and lack of transparency regarding wait times are unacceptable.
