We have declined the kind exchange offer for my wife. the next dish was a plentiful tray of meat, with sheep of great taste as hardness and a tiny piece of porceddu, almost raw. The vegetarian alternative was: nothing. I say nothing. to finish good seada and generous mix of liqueurs. price per head, for both “options”. I'd say you can do better.
It was a pleasant surprise, I will definitely come back. great food, very nice place and very kind staff. a piece of sardegna at the table. recommended
We found this agriturismo by accident and it was a lucky shot because we travelled by the end of May/beginning June and during this period a lot of agriturismo are closed. The family was really friendly and we ate typical sardinian dishes. The products are biological and from their own farm, as well the wine. Angelo, their son, was our waiter and told us a lot about the farm, Sardegna and their customs. It was a perfect service with really really delicious food, an amazing view over their fields and all of this at a fair price. We'll come again! We can recommend all Sardegna-Travellers to go eating in one of the many agriturismo (farm-restaurants)! Here the link to our favorite: [hidden link]
We stayed with 6 people at agritourisme cirre for dinner on our 2nd evening of vacation. the location is very simple. don 't be afraid if someone answering the phone 'just ' speaking italian angelo (son of the mother who cooks) speaks a little bit english and you 'll definitely know what you eat. speaking of the food: first of all it was amazingly tasty. there is no menu to choose from and they won 't ask you what you want to eat because they just cook what they have. high quality goods spiced very well and a lot to eat: 1) bread with grilled vegetables 2) noodles 3) some authentic noodle potato stuff 4) meat (pork and lamb) 5) potatoes 6) salat of fruits 7) coffee 6 people, 160€ highly recommended!
Driving on the SS125 highway from the east coast to the south we wondered where we should go for lunch. In the neighbourhood of Tertenia we saw a road sign for a restaurant. So we thought we will give it a try. We came on a small road that after about 100 m. run into a sand road. Okay, were does this end? Continue driving uphill we finally saw a big house with fresh colored blue tables and chairs on a terrace. Only 1 car on the parking. It looked like there was nobody. But when one of us walked to the door, a young lady came out and we asked if we could have something to eat for lunch. And yes we could. We where the only guests but it did not seem to be a problem. A friendly man set the table and we ordered just a simple plate of pasta together with a green salad, some bread and of course a glass of wine and a bottle of water. We do not remember the name of the plate, but it was delightful. We did not pay a lot for this wonderful lunch. When we wanted to leave the restaurant the man invited us in to the kitchen to see what dish the lady's were making for diner. They made stuffed pasta at the time and it looked very good. We said goodbye and felt sorry for ourselves knowing we should be to far away at diner time to go back there. This was a wonderful experience. So, if you are in the neighbourhood of Tertenia don't hesitate to drive on the sand road uphill to Agriturismo Cirra!
