The setting on the terrace was beautiful, with colorful lanterns hanging overhead, but unfortunately, that was the only highlight of the meal that I remember. The staff were friendly and willing to help with vegan options. We ordered the salt and pepper tofu as an entree, but when it arrived, it was just five pieces of deep-fried tofu with sweet chili sauce. It lacked the crispy coating, salt and pepper seasoning, fresh chili, or any spice at all. In short, it was not salt and pepper tofu at all, and I felt a bit disappointed to pay $10.50 for it. For our main dishes, I had stir-fried mixed vegetables with fresh chili and my partner had soup. Both dishes were bland and underwhelming. Overall, I would not recommend Hoi An Terrigal.
I really appreciate that this restaurant indicates which menu items are vegan. I tried the yellow curry and it was fantastic. It's refreshing to find a curry that doesn't contain fish sauce.
My partner and I frequently visit this restaurant for their delicious happy noodles. The only negative experience I've had was when I found a small rock in my meal. However, the staff was very apologetic and friendly, offering me a free meal and explaining that the rock had accidentally come from their garden.
Unimpressive portions. try the mediocrity. overpriced. much better thai on the main road opposite the beach thai 999. came to this place just to check it, but remained disappointed.
Needs a recipe reformulation. the aromen are good and eating is well done, but all the dishes we tried were really sweet. If the sugar content could be reduced by 1/2, I could take into account the return. I can't. the back headaches and the puffy sucking are not worth it.
