Chocolats Favoris - Terrebonne

This was my second visit and was surprised by the long wait to place my order then receive my order. I arrived around 8pm on an evening with pleasant weather and the place was packed with customers! As I was in no hurry, I waited. It took almost 50 minutes to get my chocolate dipped ice cream cone from the time that I walked in the front door. The first time that I went, it took less than 15 minutes. I’ve tried the salted caramel dipped cone (their best seller) and found it to be too sweet. I enjoyed the classic vanilla ice cream cone dipped in chocolate with no additional toppings.

You think that chocolate is just fine on it 's own, but can you 'scream for ice cream '? Then, you get the best of both worlds. Chocolats Favoris -favorite chocolates- is a chain of 'to die for chocolates and chocolate covered ice scream. First, head for the soft ice cream bar where you get to chose from a mini to a extra large size cone to be filled with chocolate or vanilla soft ice cream, than pick one of a dozen chocolate melted varieties, and sprinkles éclatés) choices to top them off. But don 't leave without getting a freshly made boxe of chocolat, or get 2 of each... Load your bags with Chocolats Favoris home made bars, chocolate fondu packages, other delicious treats, and tools to bring back as souvenirs. I never miss a trip to Chocolats Favoris when I visit La Belle Province of Québec. P.S. Cone size Baby was perfect for me!

We went to the new location on de la Grande Côte and Cure Labelle in Rosemere. If you love soft ice cream dipped in chocolate then this is the place. You have the choice of milk, dark, hazelnut, dulce de leche, salted caramel and more. Plus they have strawberry shortcake and lemon pie ice cream desserts, a chocolaterie for hand made chocolate, candy popcorn pretty much everything for a sweet tooth. We had a small and medium soft dip and the mini and small would have been fine. Great place for a warm night visit.

The quality of chocolate at this restaurant is outstanding and presented in a variety of products. I tried an ice cream cone and it was exquisite. The chocolate topping on the vanilla ice cream cone was much better in quality and quantity. There are different flavors of chocolate and sizes of cones available. A medium cone is sufficient and may be a bit too much for those who are not big fans of rich chocolate products. This place is a must-visit for anyone looking for high-quality chocolate treats.

This place is victim of its own success...on a beautiful summer night, it's always jam packed but well worth the wait. Authentic and unique. There's always something new to try. Free samples offered everytime. Great gifts too, everything is wrapped so nicely. They just came out with milkshakes; had the chance to sample the pecan one and it was a delight. The place is a must if you're visiting Quebec.
