Mcl Bakery Meadows - Terre Haute

Went to MCL today with my daughter. What a wonderful experience! The place was very clean. Very spacious seating and a fantastic selection of food. We ordered a wide variety of items but my favorite was the salmon patties. Just like momma always made but twice as big! I will be going back for more.

We order delivery. We did not receive the cornbread, the slaw tasted bad, and there is no bottom to the Cherry Pie. When we call to let them know, they told us that it was the doordash delivery drivers fault, he said it could be, and we pointed out that it was not the driver's fault that they cut off the entire bottom part of the pie when they gave it to us. A picture of the pie is included. MCL took no responsibility for the poor service that was delivered to us for $40 and we will not be going back. Remind yourself that piece of pie that's in the picture cost us $3.70.

The food was tasty, but the portion sizes varied. Additionally, it was quite pricey; without the blue plate special, the bill for two sides was nearly double.

I absolutely love their beef Manhattans, and they offer the best strawberry cake and ice cream!

I absolutely love her Stuffed Chicken Breast; it’s fantastic! The salads are also really tasty. However, most dishes could use a little salt and pepper, but that's to be expected. My son enjoys coming along with me—he always orders the Fried Chicken legs, two potatoes, and either a cookie or cake for dessert. I have fond memories of visiting the MCL as a toddler when I was pushed in a high chair back when it was located in Honey Creek Mall!
