Grupo de adultos negócios da família! nós fomos muito bem recebidos pelo filho dos proprietários (cordialidade, simpatia, sugestões, .feeding com gosto e ambiente agradável! para destacar que, foi demonstrado preocupação pela nossa experiência, uma vez que um dos participantes teve a ooadia de se referir ao menino que comeu um pequeno pumba veio mais uma dose para garantir o bem-estar e a experiência do cliente. Em quatro jantares, dois estavam no baltazar;)votos de muito sucesso!

This is a very friendly place with very caring waiting staff. The atmosphere is traditional Portuguese. The portions are big but there is limited choice for vegetarians unless you like an omelet for dinner. I had the vegetable soup, which was watery and not very tasty. I also had a mixed salad, which was the traditional simple salad with nice fresh tomatoes. The clientele was mainly senior citizens who are following a cure at the spa, I think they cater mostly for that group.

Within the surroundings of this lovely part of Town and actually, the World managed to experience what can only be described ad traditional Portuguese hospitality and F&B. Although I nowadays follow a Vegan style diet, these guy's did not frown in any way, shape or form and served up some really cool dishes such as the tasty local tomato rice, soup, a variety of Vegetables.

We walked in off the street, and were very pleasantly surprised. The rather spartan interior isn 't representative of the excellent food, and shouldn 't stop you from going in! We had some marvellous dishes in rich sauces (both game and fish), and regional wine and desserts. It 's a lovely change from the wilfully stylish and touristy cafés and bars, some much more authentic food. There 's a German expression: Gut bürgerliche Küche , which roughly translates to Good civilian cuisine . It perfectly summaries the food and drink we had here: nothing ridiculously fancy, but exactly the way that you want it, and lots of it. 5 stars, and will go and find it again!

We found this gem in TripAdvisor. Even that it was shown as closed, we tried our luck. The restaurant was amazing. Great service, great guy. Best food in Portugal so far. Totally worth going.
