Mccarthy's Pub - Tequesta

Upon entering, we were warmly welcomed by the specials and Frank. Kathy is truly the best server there is. It's no surprise that the guys come back weekly or even more often. Great job, McCarthy's!

If I could give it a lower rating, I would. There was no Guinness or Jameson, and the staff seemed untrained. This place is a joke of an Irish pub, far from authentic. Just stick to Dos XX if you go.

Delicious! The staff was extremely friendly! We dined here for the first time tonight, and it's hard to believe how amazing everything was. We started with some fantastic margaritas, followed by perfectly roasted escargot served with a delightful garlic sauce and crunchy chunks of bread crumbs and garlic toast points. My husband ordered a wedge salad, which he thoroughly enjoyed. He also had the liver dish and finished every last bite—clearly a clean plate club winner! I opted for the fabulous shepherd's pie, and the flavors were divine. I can’t say enough good things about it—truly incredible! We ended our meal with the best Irish coffee I've had in years. The only regret I have is that it took us until 1988 to discover this gem of a restaurant! I can't wait to return!

Great Irish pub with live music and a decent point of Guinness The sausages McCarthy's use for their bangers and mash are perfect. Best of all is the service. Attentive, engaging and fun. Big shout out to Vicky who helped make our evening.

Seriously underwhelmed. Great atmosphere but the food and service was lacking. Our waitress forgot about us. We ordered scotch eggs which our waitress asked if we would like them hot or cold. We requested cold which is the traditional way (having grown up in the UK). Our waitress then came back said the manager would not let us have them cold because it was unsafe. The eggs were over cooked and burned on the outside. Foliowed by fish and chips that had thick mushy batter. I was hoping to reconnect with ?home? but disappointed.
