Oakwood Inn - Tendring

Beautiful old building. Recently having to be renovated after a fire. Service is always friendly and the food great. We always visit with 102 year old M-I-L as it is her favourite place. She loves the home made pies

The food was delicious and the staff was friendly and helpful. The chef was willing to assist with gluten-free options and provide advice on the menu. The atmosphere was great and I would definitely come back.

I've heard that you will be open on Monday is this true I can't wait very good food and drinks smart place with good menu thanks

Today, we visited the Oakwood restaurant in Holland-on-Sea for a birthday celebration. We were very disappointed with the service and found that the food was not as good as we have experienced in the past. When I called to speak with the manager, who I later found out was the owner, I expressed my dissatisfaction. The manager responded by saying that they were aware of my complaints since the moment I arrived. When I mentioned the poor service, I was told that it was to be expected with young staff who were still in training. After expressing my disappointment, the manager made it clear that they were not concerned if I did not return to the restaurant.
