Burger Base - Tendring

We all thoroughly enjoyed our dinners which were really tasty. The burgers were tender and served in lovely brioche rolls.

What a nice surprise ,clean and well fitted out restaurant.People were polite and pleased to see us.Food was excellent very fresh and tasty ,burgers were great .On the whole we had a great meal and good value for money.Will be coming back on a regular basisGood luck for the future

My husband and I took our daughter there today for lunch and I can say we will NOT be returning! Yes we was seated straight away but that was it, orders taken then after a wait (restaurant was empty) food was put in front of us! Not once was we checked on, my chicken burger was burnt on the bottom with hardly any sauce but tons of lettuce and tomatoes! My husband and daughters burgers tasted of a supermarket brought burger and you get over charged to have chips! Very over priced and not worth it at all. I do not recommend this place at all.

We visited the restaurant just after 5pm on a weekday, the restaurant was fairly quiet. we were greeted straight away and show to our table. The decor is rustic and modern and not over fussy. We ordered our drinks and food at the same time and were also offered a free Childs meal which also included a free drink with the meal. We ordered a side of coleslaw which i have to say was very overly priced one pound fifty for spoonful. I would not order this again ! The burgers and fries were cooked perfectly and were really tasty. The drinks were not too pricey either I opted for a smoothie priced at three pounds fifty and this was worth the money. Feedback for Burger Base would be you have got the drinks and main meals sport on but the side dishes do need looking at. Overall a positive experience and we would visit again.
