Summer Rolls - Temple City

This place has the best roles in town. No joke! The best! You have to try it, it's one of a kind. So crisp and so super tasteful. The house sauce is also perfect. All right! Bonus points: It's also a beacon. You have a good collection of beer for you to enjoy. I personally love her white beer most, it is smooth and always refreshing. The outdoor terrace is also sweet. I love getting there with friends and just taking a bite. I recommend this place! PS. There is a park structure for the entire Plaza, it is free. Enjoy!

Omgggggg this place is an institution. #5, the banh mi are our go to! Also I always get the fish sauce with some Thai chili in the sauce with the rolls. I bless this place all the time. It's so good! Rosemead is our destination, but the new location is beautiful for outdoor dining and they also serve alcohol. There is also a beautiful Taiwanese dessert place and a bakery next door that makes it quite comfortable.

Steam rice cake shrimp powder crimp fried in shrimp oil, fried pork nem w/ shrimp egg rolls, and a thai iced tea. Tastes great, price was also good (Menu prices exactly at the time of the visit). Portions were very fillable and ideal for family style. The service was fast, ordered and first paid at the switch. Seats outdoor during peak hours were ok, first come first serve, but manageable.

My supreme desire! We always get the rice plates or the spring rolls ~ So delicious! Their shares are also quite large. I love the sauce for spring rolls! with the spring rolls I would suggest calling before you, or you need to wait. There are always people waiting every time I pick up my food. The employees are also so nice! Rosemead location closes Wednesday. Temple City location closes Monday. This place is my first recommendation when people never know what to eat.

Summer Rolls is the hipster, non-conforming cousin of any Vietnamese Pho restaurant. You will not find any pho at this Vietnamese restaurant. You will not find any egg or spring rolls here either. All you will find are vermicelli bowls, rice plates, summer rolls, and a plethora of Vietnamese beers, and this is exactly why Summer Rolls is such a great place. I've been here multiple times and have always enjoyed the food every time. This time, my girlfriend and I came for a summer roll snack so we just got the #9. It also comes with 2 sauces and a small, but very spicy pepper. We absolutely destroyed it and left more hungry than we came. Summer Rolls is located in a very lively plaza and has plenty of free parking. They only have outdoor seating so I would highly recommend wearing clothes that cover as much skin as possible. Why? Mosquitos in the Temple City area are numerous and cause bumps the size of dollar coins.
