The Vine Tavern Eatery - Tempe

I found this place because I had to wait for the bus. The place hasn't changed since the last time. The prices were not what I expected for a bar that was happy during the day. Service: 5/5

Okay, so I have a story with the vine so that I am definitely biased based on my experience with the original on Apache. Everything was good here except really the layout of the rooms. It wasn't anyone's fault, just an odds more than anything. That's why I was hesitant when we first came in, but as soon as we sat and ate and drank, everything was great.

Avoid this place, bartenders and servers were the worst ever. I love the wings here, but definitely not worth the abuse you will put on by the bartender and server.

Vine has excellent food. To get to dinner, you have to deal with terrible service. Unfortunately, it took 20 years of great time and great food to change my opinion about an excellent establishment. I'll never come back and tell all my friends to avoid the vine. The hippie bartender is nosy and bad at her job. The kubby white waitress wants to take off her bad disposition on anyone she serves. I wasn't a fan.

Wow has this place gone down hill! Used to be a nice neighborhood bar that was clean with good food and service. Not so much anymore. We went today, party of 5. Took 15 minutes before we could place a drink order and another 10 minutes before we had our drinks one of the kegs blew? . We ordered 2 dozen wings, a shareable appetizer platter and two more appetizers along with 3 PBRs and a few well drinks. Bill? $130. The portions we like a kids meal. The place is so dirty inside and out, run down and lacks too many things to type. You have lost a long time customer.
