Kyoto Bowl - Tempe

The teriyaki chicken and white rice are always delicious! The original owner is still running the place, and the flavors of the food remain just as good. Food rating: 4/5.

The egg roll was just your standard egg roll. As for the sushi, it was mostly rice—95%—with only 3% seaweed and 2% avocado or fish. The pot stickers were decent, but nothing special; they lacked any accompanying sauce or flavor. On a positive note, the woman at the front was very kind, and the restaurant's ambiance and decor were decent.

Went for a quick bite during my lunch break. I ordered the spicy chicken teriyaki. I asked for additional sauce however was told it would have plenty of sauce....it didn't. The sauce was not what I was imaging. A little lite in color, flavor and watery. The chicken was a weird texture for me, kinda of soft and chewy. I ate it, mostly because I was hungry. I would give the place another shot but wouldn't be the teriyaki chicken.

The woman at the front was very sweet, but it was super unfortunate that she missed me asking for the combo. When I asked for the drink, it got complicated but I really didn't know because our order was already $36+. We got 2 spicy teriyaki bowls as part of our order, but neither was spicy at all. Wasn't fond of the baby corn but other veggies seemed pretty typical.
