It was an amazingly delicious meal cooked for perfection and the lamb was sooo delicate! I fucked the curry with the boy's bread and I just loved it. The Mango Lassi complemented him perfectly. It was heaven. The service was also impeccable. All for $20 without tip. I will be back soon to taste some other delicious delights! Very recommended.
We came to Phoenix from Chicago for a vacation, so we have high standards for Desi Essen. Curry Ecke didn't disappoint. Authentic and Delicious.
I now understand why Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives featured Curry Corner. Tucked away in a shopping street, it's easy to miss but worth the visit. The food is excellent and authentic, with no frills or crazy ambiance, just really good food at a great price and in large portions. We tried the garlic naan, cheese naan, chicken pakora, sizzlers plates, and curry chicken. It was too much for two people, but we had leftovers for two days. The flavors were amazing and the proteins were tender and juicy, perfectly seasoned. We also tried the Mango Lassi with added ice, which was perfect. If you love Indian food, you will definitely love this place. It truly is a taste sensation.
This restaurant is very budget-friendly and the portions are generous. It's a wonderful spot for Pakistani cuisine and conveniently located near campus. I tried the Chicken Jalfrezi and it was delicious. The chicken was tender and the sauce was creamy, although I wished it had a bit more salt. The Tikka Masala Fries were fantastic - the fries were perfectly seasoned and topped with goat cheese and white sauce. They are definitely a must-try. I also recommend trying their mango and strawberry parfait.
This restaurant is fantastic, the food is delicious and reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly as well. I can't wait to return and try more of the menu.
