Costco Food Court - Tempe

I typically enjoy visiting the Costco Food Court for their menu, especially the chicken bakes and pizza. However, my experience today was disappointing. I ordered a whole pepperoni pizza at 12:40 and was informed by an employee that it would take 40 minutes. When I later inquired about my order, I felt dismissed by the same employee, who did not announce the order number when it was ready. The level of service was unprofessional. I wasn't the only one waiting; at least three other customers also had to ask about their pizza orders. It wasn't until my husband requested a refund that another employee suddenly remembered our order. By that time, the pizza was barely above room temperature, and two of our perishable items started to spoil. Overall, my first impression was that the service was disorganized and unprofessional, which makes me hesitant to return to this Costco Food Court in the future.

I can't really speak to the food since I've only had a soda there, but I love that you can pay for your order without going to the register. It's always so busy, so the food must be great!

The secret is that you don’t need a membership after all. You can’t beat their prices, and the quality is pretty good. If you don’t have a membership card, just tell them you’re there for alcohol or pharmacy items. Federal law mandates that they must allow you to make those purchases without a membership. If they refuse, you have the law on your side.

I love asking those around me when they come here for the ambience or the kitchen. But it's delicious pizza at a great price. Feeding a team or family is a good business. When you see, it's a fun place to watch for people. It is a microcosm small entrepreneur, blue collar, white collar, factory worker, CEO and Wal-Martians.

One heck of a good deal 1.64 w/ tax for a foot long hot dog, steamed for flavor, soft bun, a large soda or tea. Especially when you pile on the mustard, diced onions and sweet relish ... geez, now I want another one ....
