Casey Moore's Oyster House - Tempe

ASU staple. Great patio and food. Been years since visited and just like going back in time. If I?m area it?s worth just stopping by for a beer. The food is always good and the beers are cold.

Food was delish, nice size portions and great atmosphere. Our party was sitting outside and were enjoying ourselves; however, just as we were done eating, someone started smoking a cigarette. That was a big turnoff, especially if we had still been eating.

The food at this restaurant was decent, but the atmosphere felt more like a college bar for young adults trying to impress. We wanted to sit outside so we could chat and hear each other over the music, but the manager who came to light the heater didn't know how to do it. Our waiter seemed unenthusiastic and mostly used phrases like "fer sure," "oh ya," and "hell yes." So overall, I won't be returning to this place.

The staff was friendly, especially Dan who was very helpful. We decided to try the Escargot, Fried Clams, and Fish and Chips. The food was absolutely delicious, and my husband also enjoyed it. He even said it was the best Fish and Chips he's ever had in Arizona.

The food at this restaurant is amazing. Although the bar area may be a bit dimly lit when you first enter, the patio is lovely during the summer and the staff is very friendly. I highly recommend trying the oysters Rockefeller, they are delicious. We also tried the calamari and the Cajun pasta with salmon, both of which were cooked to perfection and very flavorful. I would definitely return to this restaurant and recommend it to others.
