Rebel Tacos - Temecula

Ordered two burritos and they were terrible, no seasoning at all! Rice, beans, carne asada, salsa, none of it was seasoned!! Very disappointed.

I just ate here today with a couple others and I ordered the Adobada fries along with a large drink which cost me, alone, a total of $21; Yikes first of all. Second, the adobada was very chewy to a point where I was confused if I was eating wet paper at this point. The fry seasoning was not the best, tasted almost like cumin or a curry type. I found plastic in my food and even told the people who worked there. My friends ordered a torta and shrimp tacos. Torta was fine. The shrimp tacos had all these toppings but barely any shrimp in it. The avocado salsa did not taste like avocado at all and just like a bunch of spices mixed in one. Needless to say, the food looks great and appetizing, really, but we were all pretty disappointed. Won't be choosing this place again.

So we were at the rebels tacos in the promenade mall temecula. The staff were friendly. I ordered a #5 2 hardshell beef tacos with shredded beef, lettuce, cheese, sour cream comes with rice and beans on side . My hubby ordered a breakfast burrito with carnitas. And I had a Dr. Pepper and he had a Pepsi. Anyhow the rice was DRY like it had sat for hours. The meat in the tacos had no seasoning or flavor at ALL. I added mild salsa but their mild salsa was a joke all I could taste was onion. Not even a little heat. No taste of cilantro, pepper, chili, salt, nada. It was basically green water onion. My beans were okay however . My hubby said his burrito was okay except for the meat again no flavor. I don't know if it was just an off day as it was our first time there or not but we will not be returning.

Had the pleasure of dining here for a Yelp event. The carne asada fries are so delicious. Battered fries lots of meat and good flavor from the sauces. I didn't like the corn tortillas on the taco but they had great flavor. I highly recommend the fries.

I love Rebel tacos since I moved to temecula, but for some reason... the last time I ate here was the rice tasted old. I couldnt finish it.
