Altezza At The Peaks - TELLURIDE

We love this place but it was horrible tonight. Food was mediocre, kids’ food was hobbled together (out of meatballs so a cut up hamburger patty), all food delivered at random times, some of it inedible it was so salty, had to order drinks at the bar because waiter was MIA, missing plates and silverware…just generally really bad. Might need to give it a rest for a season or two. Definitely isn’t worth the

Of course the view can’t be beat from the patio or the dining room however the lack of attention to detail when it comes to drinks being delivered too slowly and the empty app and dinner plates sitting overly long after being empty did kind of detract from the beauty of the scenery. But our sever was darling and her effort did help somewhat. Overall it was a B+ evening.

A holiday dinner with our son of his friend. beautiful outdoor terrace with a picturesque sunset during dinner. eating was good, but not all come together. a good experience would return.

Less than stellar- and certainly not a “fine restaurant” (outside the prices.) was the hopeful? absolutely. gastgeberin was incredibly nice. waiting they were not experienced eating fine. beverages (martini craft beer) were meh- we had better definitiw. app (Charcuterie-Board) had one beautiful cheese on it. adult meal was good (steak was as expected, trufflemash were the best on the plates.) if they want to calculate $18 for a child meal please steer with microwaves. seriously. if I pay $7, maybe, but $18? I would have been better to get them the steak plate that they actually ate (which means I ate 1/2 my teller children ate the others 1/2.) the meatballs were absolutely insignificant and the force-mac was more dry than a bone. we had planned our entire day for our reservations - we left ourselves with deflated expectations.

You guys did a fantastic job making the night special for my wife and I. We appreciate everything that they did. You showed us that you guys cared and for my wife that was important. The food was great, the servers were attentive, the hostess was caring and the manager reassured us that we were taken care of.
