China-Bai Yun - Telfs

This is a very nice restaurant upstairs above some shops diagonally across from the entrance to the Inntal Centre. This place likes to offer a buffet style menu with all you can eat. But we didn't want to stuff ourselves silly and so just ordered a simple curry from the main menu. Actually the buffet was priced just over €15 per person (cheaper for children and priced on height of child) and our menu meals were less than €10 and the portion was plenty big enough. Soft drinks were reasonable priced for the area and so all in all we were very impressed with our meal. The restaurant itself is traditionally Chinese and decorated quite nicely, staff were attentive and polite and understood sufficient English to converse. Food was well presented and well cooked and tasty. Just to note that they do not take payment by credit card and so ensure you have sufficient cash.

We have been there 2 weeks ago and liked the place and the food. It is one of those all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet very popular in Austria and other places, unfortunately we do not have many of these in Zurich where we live. : We liked the selection of food ready or to be taken to the wook side for prompt cooking by the owner, as Vegetarian I would have liked a bit bigger selection of warm vegetarian food but unfortunately I could only take the veggie noodles or the white rice. On the wook side it went better and I could grab some fresh vegetables and hav them cooked for me at the moment. A place to stop by if driving in the highway nearby or if you are already visiting the small town.

Immer einen besuch wert, da man sich alles selber zusammen stellen kann...von Fisch bis Gleich alles da....kann ich nur empfehlen.Liebe Grüße Renate

Wir waren heute das erste Mal in diesem Restaurant und ich bestellte eine knusprige Ente mit Reis und Sojasauce. Meine Freundin aß einen Soja Teller und wir waren beide sehr begeistert von der Qualität des Essens und von der Freundlichkeit des Services. Wir kommen bestimmt gerne wieder zurück in dieses gute Restaurant.

Unverständlich, dass dies aufgrund der Gesetzeslage überhaupt möglich ist. Das Buffet wird vom Raucherraum durch eine leiterähnliche Wand getrennt, also überhaupt keine Abtrennung. Zwischen Speise und Zigarettenrauch liegen gerade mal 50cm. Das Essen hat sich wesentlich verbessert gegen früher. Leider unfreundliche (nicht asiatische) Kellner.
