Hong Kong City - Telford and Wrekin

We have frequently ordered food from this takeout restaurant. Today, on the 14th of May, was no different. However, we were disappointed to find that the oil used to fry the prawn toast and Singapore vermicelli was spoiled. Due to this experience, I am hesitant to order from this place again in the near future.

The chicken balls and chips were both overcooked, making it difficult to stab them with my fork. I ended up feeling sick after eating them. I would not recommend spending your money at this restaurant.

I went to pick up my order as I believe the online ordering system may be negatively impacting this restaurant's reviews. The recent increase in demand has caused them, as well as many others, to become overwhelmed, which may have affected their service. However, the staff was friendly, the restaurant was clean, and the food was hot and flavorful. I highly recommend trying the Singapore chow mein. Thank you.

AVOID! Thanks for ruining our Christmas day! Gone down hill this place!, used to be amazing use to go all time but changed when food started to go to the dogs and things left out of order! But last night tops it all me my family have had a bad stomach all night and this morning! Food was disgraceful , wish we had thrown it away! Curry was cold thinking on it now its must not have been cooked properly! Or cooked in a batch and left to cool, will never order from Hong Kong City ever again! My advice is Fortune cooking in oakengates !! Cheaper and better!

Do not use this restaurant, they cancel your online order with no warning at all after accepting the order and money. Refunds take 3-5 days and therefore we were not able to go somewhere else. Usually good food but not reliable at all. Avoid with your online orders.
