GREAT hidden Gem!!!! Good food, service and atmosphere ?

Lovely place. But It took a long time to get drinks and food after ordering. Dinner plates were cool and food lukewarm, sent it back to be miked and still was not hot. Expected better food for the price. Friendly waitresses but lacking in training and coordination. Don 't plan to return.

This place is really great. Just to know you are stepping into a place that has close to 300 years of history in our area. Also had the privilege of meeting the owner and getting him to show me the new outside seating area. Overall, it is a great place to sit down and unwind for a bit!

I was there for a bridal shower. We sat in the side room, which was adorable and a perfect size. The outside was so cute. They have a bison behind the restaurant.

I had my wedding at Rising Sun Inn about 6 months ago. Theresa herself was amazing! She made everything about my day stress free. Due to the weather we had to move my ceremony inside, and she could tell that I was stressed about having the ceremony in the barn where the reception was. Being the amazing person that she is she was able to make their enclosed patio look absolutely beautiful for my ceremony (the night before). Her staff was amazing as well, One of them even went out of their way to MAKE my 3yo chips! Everyone loved the food, and I could not have had a better wedding day!
