I had a wonderful Sunday afternoon at this pub. The food was delicious with large portions. I enjoyed the roast lamb and a cheese and ham ploughman's. They had a great selection of real ales from Exeter Brewery, Salcombe, and Branscombe. The pub also had some friendly dogs which added to the charm. Overall, a visit to this cozy and welcoming village inn is highly recommended. Service: 4, Location: 5.

I believe this restaurant has the potential to be haunted. The food and drinks were excellent, especially the ciabatta sandwich with bacon and melted cheese. The service and location both received a perfect score of 5. This hotel is also great for families with kids.

Lovely old village pub with excellent ales and as chance would have it a mere stagger to my brother's new house, only a fleeting visit for me but it was easy to imagine long winter nights with a pint of ale in front of the log burner......
