The Jolie Brise - Teignbridge

As with most Weatherspoons pubs this was very busy but the service was quick and the meals good value and the beer was excellent.

The Jolie used to be the 5 star of Wetherspoons. I brought my wife for some lunch, and I can see standards have slipped. Cold overcooked food, missed order items and the tables are sticky. It is not as busy as it once was so don't know why it was like this. Portion sizes have gone down, but the drinks are still great value.

This restaurant is not recommended for dining outdoors with your dog. Takeaway service was very poor and all the food was dry. The spicy dip was spilled all over the container.

If you see Tim tell him airco on doors open. It was like a fridge inside. Outside was cool so no need for airco. Tim it's called profit!

Dreadful food. Cod and chips... Cod was dark brown and curled up, obviously cooked in oil that was far to hot. Sent it back, second one was lighter in colour but dry. Chips were almost non existent. Large mixed grill... Tiny pieces of meat which were all tough and very chewy. The two sausages were missing and no mushrooms. The only plus was the waitress who was very friendly and helpful.
