Addiscotts Fish And Chips - Teignbridge

I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The food was served cold and to make matters worse, there was a black hair stuck in the fish dish. Neither my blonde hair nor my bald father's hair could have been the culprit. I will not be returning to this establishment.

I have been going to the Village Fish & Chip Shop in Shaldon for many years. Dee and her family really know how to make delicious fish and chips. I just wish they had more locations. The fish is always fresh, the batter is crispy and flavorful, and the chips are the best I've had on the coast. This is definitely the best fish and chip shop around.

The staff is friendly, efficient, and always cheerful even during busy times. Be prepared for a bit of a wait, especially during peak hours when it gets crowded. I have never been disappointed with the food here, every meal I have had has been delicious.

We made a reservation for 35 family members to celebrate a 40th birthday on the beach at the same time! The meal was fantastic, with generous portion sizes and great value for the money. The fish and chips from the shop in Shaldon village were expertly made.

I have been to this restaurant 2 or 3 times and I absolutely love it. The staff are polite and friendly, always engaging in conversations. The food is impeccable, I have no complaints whatsoever. I even bought some chips for my grandmother and the portion size was perfect for her. I highly recommend this place to anyone in Teignmouth looking for high-quality chips.
