Holiday Inn Express Suites Tehachapi Hwy 58/mill St. An Ihg

I visited this restaurant on a business trip and had a fantastic experience. The staff was excellent. Although I left before breakfast, I appreciated the availability of coffee and bagels, and I was able to grab a bowl of cereal. The rooms are well insulated, so there was no noise from neighboring rooms or the hallway. The bed was perfect, and the room was very clean and well stocked. The air conditioning worked wonderfully. I can't wait to come back. Sierra was particularly helpful at check-out and was incredibly friendly. Thank you for a great stay!

This hotel needs to adhere to a higher standard. Ownership or management should take action to elevate it to the level of other Holiday Inn Express hotels. Certain essentials should be consistently available, such as IHG staples like cinnamon rolls, and breakfast items should be replenished throughout the entire breakfast service. Also, it would be nice to have room amenities, such as shampoo and soap, from the same brand instead of opting for cheaper alternatives. If there’s a patio area, there should be chairs provided for guests to enjoy it. Furthermore, it’s important for the staff to take pride in their work and prioritize customer service. Guests deserve a worthwhile experience for the rates they are charged. The repetitive, generic responses to customer reviews indicate a lack of genuine concern. While the room was satisfactory, the amenities fell short, and the only real advantage of this hotel is its location.

I have been several times at this hotel. It's easy to drive to, as there is one exit of CA-58 more or less directly leading to the hotel. Gas station and Denny's are located just over the street. The room I had was quite new and had lots of space. Tehachapi is chilly in winter and also windy all over the year. Thus, the wind makes also the noise of the highway with many trucks and also the nearby tracks of the railroad with its engines whistling easier to hear. So if your sleep isn't that well you might be awakened during the night. The Hotel is serving a decent breakfast that is included in the price. Hot eggs/omelets, bagels with cream cheese or cereals are available. Also apples and bananas.

This is a wonderful, quiet spot to spend the night. The breakfast was excellent, and the accommodations were very nice. My only complaint is that AT&T service doesn’t work well in the area, so I was unable to make phone calls until the hostess kindly helped me contact my family. I also dined at the Indian restaurant next to the Baymont Hotel, and it was delicious, with great service as well.

Stayed for a family reunion we attended in a near by town. The free breakfast was an added bonus especially with having our family with us. The rooms were clean and it was nice to have a microwave in the room with you for reheating food. Staff was friendly as well and even asked us about our family reunion upon returning for the night. Very personal and attentive. We would definitely stay again if we were going to be in the area
