My friend arrived before I did and instead of been greeted with a warm welcome she was told "kitchen closes at 9pm". At this point it was 6.10pm! The food was fine as was the scenery but was overpriced for what it was.The younger waitress really needs to get into a different industry as she was rude and uninviting. Examples we asked if they had a dessert menu. She pointed and said "on the board" didn't explain anything. They never came around and asked if we would like another drink the whole time we dined. We were still eating and plates were being cleared, not even asking if we had finished! Rude!To top off the night the waitress places the bill on the table as we are still eating and drinking. We never asked for the bill and we felt rushed to finished. We will not be returning and will not be recommending this to friends.
Another visit with our family of 12 for a birthday dinner.Welcomed by friendly staff who were very attentive to our needs. Food was served promptly, beautifully presented and absolutely delicious!! BYO corkage is $15. Cake fee is $15 also. A thoroughly enjoyable night out for all of us.
The food here is very good. We went on a busy Saturday night but got served in a timely manner, staff were all great, very friendly and efficient. It is nice to see they are supporting local wine and beer makers. We enjoyed all off our food. Couldn't fault anything.
Been here a couple of times over the years. Totally forgot how great the food is. Great helpful and friendly staff. Only bummer was parking can be a bit tricky...just because they are so popular. We will defiantly be back! ????
Quite an impressive restaurant nestled in the original Tea Tree Gully settlement right at base of the foothills opposite the Gully Pub. Food was average - I think they hold back on the spices to cater for wider range of tastes. I prefer they provided authentic food - as by holding back some of the dishes are a little bland. Having said that the food is good quality and value for money (most dishes around $20). Service is friendly and good. Wine list is good - and they include good quality local Adelaide Hills craft brewery beers including Lobethal Bierhaus and Prancing Pony. The venue is a very large dining room which I thought could suite special occasions like wedding receptions and so on - with very tasteful decorations and comfortable seating. Recommended.
