We'll go back another day to taste that food. There is a breakfast and lunch menu card. (See pictures).A new outside area is nearly open. Part of it will have a roof. Could be just right for the coming summer. Sign on door says they close at 3pm but on a previous occasion we could buy only takeaway coffee before 2:30pm and all the chairs were on tables ready for floor cleaning.
Lovely Cafe in the township of Te Kauwhata. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Venue was comfortable for outside dining. Would definitely stop in again.
Having just moved into the area having Jack's nearby allows me to enjoy good coffee and a bite to eat. I had the ham and tomato quiche on this occasion and it was delicious. With a nice relish which you always need with quiche. Staff are always friendly and the coffee is always hot and strong
Lovely atmosphere, fabulous decor, good service and tasty food. Reasonable prices and caters for a multitude of tastes. Keto options available along with traditional favourites. Great place to stop.
J.A.C.K.S Cafe (not to be confused with Jack's Coffe Lounge, Hamilton) is a great new little cafe to stop at in Te Kauwhata. The target demographic is mid to high as reflected by their pricing. The food is very well presented, tastes good and is portioned appropriately. The cappuccino I ordered arrived very quickly but was unfortunately not hot. The use of primary school girls to serve patrons is a novel idea and one that brought a smile to my partners face. Tip: avoid sitting near the kitchen if you're coming with anyone one else as the extractor fan makes it quite loud. Overall J.A.C.K.S Cafe is a welcome addition to Main Street. Well done to the team who worked for two years to bring the dream to life.
