The smoked wings without sauce on them are also in my top contenders. And make sure you check the specials before you order... the shrimp po boy and gum soup were phenomenal and I almost missed them! Whether you want to sit inside or outside, atmosphere and ambience and unsurpassed. Amazing food, great location and some of the friendly staff.
Good food. We ordered and got the food in the brewery. The appetizers (laden potato wedges and cooked peanuts) were all right. The pizza was good. 4 stars because I wouldn't make the whole way out if it wasn't for the brewery next door.
First off, amazing location with lots to do around the restaurant. The Farehouse had plenty of parking on a Saturday evening and the restaurant entrance was very inviting. Our wait was long. 1.5 hours but they were taking reservations which we did not do. The hostess could have been more friendly. Not once did she smile and man that would have pushed my rating closer to 5 stars. In fact none of the staff smiled except our waiter when we got him talking off topic. He was a good guy. We got the boiled peanuts for an app to nibble on that seasoned perfectly. The pasta dish I got was so fresh and delicious I would recommend you try any of them. I ordered an Old Fashioned that was a little strong which made it perfect as I sipped it through dinner. Over all a solid 4 stars. More smiles are needed there so maybe as patrons let?s lead by example. ?
Experienced Farehouse for the first time. I will say it gets packed early so be sure to make a reservation or get there early. The interior looks great and it?s an open kitchen so you can watch if you want to. One bartender was very attentive, the other not so much. Pizza was really really good. Worth trying it out. Then go to the arcade or axe throwing after! You can also order to go food and they will bring it to you while you try out 13 stripes brewery next door!
My sister and I had lunch today at the Farehouse. She ordered the pimiento cheese spread with toast wedges. I had the turkey BLT (minus the tomato, I don?t care for them . I am not a pimiento cheese eater. Never have been interested in mayonnaise in any form or fashion. I tried her pimiento cheese and LOVED it! I will be back just so that I can have some more of this delicious pimiento cheese. My sandwich was great also. I had the side salad with my sandwich and very much enjoyed that too! The service and atmosphere were great. Also?. They have the ?good ice?. You know the kind I mean! :
