Wild Mountain Winery - Taylors Falls

Charming! Worth the beautiful drive. Would love to camp here great idea to mix winery and camping!

My experience was very rushed. No explanation of the wine and the taste. Matter of fact, when we went to the counter to share our interest in wine tasting , the associates simply pointed to the menu and said we get three samples, and one full glass. We asked two associate what their favorite wine was and responded were less than impressive. One replied with a great explanation. The other just said it depends , laughed and walked off swiftly. We even asked about the glamping, because that was a present surprise to us. We were handed a brochure and told to visit the website. Overall, the live music was wonderful. The venue was beautiful . The customer service from most felt rushed and not personable. Just mediocre. I’ve had far better wine tasting experiences than this one.

The wines they have were good. But the server had no class, should be bartending at the corner dive bar.. The cheese tray was also disappointing. A wedge of cheese in plastic and some crackers. No choices, nothing special, expect better from a winery. We've been to many, so we know....

I've seen some advertisements for this winery and finally decided to meet friends there on a Friday evening. The pleasant drive north brought us through the surrounding mix of hills, valleys and farms. We enjoyed the views and the casual warm atmosphere of the winery. We enjoyed the wine sampling, taking a stroll around the property and listening to the live band. A few people were staying in nice tents scattered in the vineyard which you are able to reserve. It was a very nice evening out with friends and friendly staff. I am looking forward to returning when we have a chance.

Wow! Mark has a great venue here. Beautiful restful atmosphere. There are fully furnished yurts and woods camping. There is a pond. Mark waited up for us to arrive and gave us a tour of the site available.
