I was staying at this hotel and had the pleasure of eating all my meals here. As an Italian American, I can't tell you how many times I've found food in Italy to come short of expectations. But here, meals are heavenly. My first was a funghi risotto since the area is famous for many kinds of mushrooms, and braised lamb as my grandfather was raised in a sheepherding family in this area. It was incredibly delicious. In total I had 3 lunches and 3 dinners here. All meats and pastas were great as well as the accompanying vegetables. I would go out of my way to stay here again and would definitely go for full board. All are welcome to this simple rustic restaurant. Locals in the know come by for lunch and dinner. It's definitely worth the trip if you're staying elsewhere in the area or just visiting for the day. Veronica, the young English speaker is kind and gracious. This is family run restaurant and the whole family make you feel welcome.
