Wendy's Hamburgers - Tauranga

The food was great and the staff were friendly. But Wendy's come on, this poor store needs an upgrade. Decor is old, chairs were ripped, needs some urgent TLC.

The staff are friendly most times when we occasionally visit drive thru here. There is no consistency with the food served here. We have been here at different times of the day and have found the food sometimes hot and other times the burgers aren’t. The last visit here was recent my partner became sick after his 1/2 pound dbl burger meal. The drinks tasted bitter were flat. Not a favourite place to visit.

2 stars for friendly staff however the burger was like dry cardboard with the patties so thin there were falling apart. As always, it looked nothing like the picture advertised so I wonder how they get away with such misrepresentation

Overall a horrible experience girl in the drive through sounded and acted like she really hated her job, and I understand it's not the best job but unfortunately in customer service you have to care to a certain extent. Not only was that poor, but our burgers we ordered were cold and chips were gross and the worst Part of it all we got mushrooms on our burgers and I know for a fact thud burger we ordered didn't come with them. Pretty scary considering my brother is allergic to them !

9pm on a Sunday evening. No one in store or in the drive thru. What could go wrong? This will be quick, we thought. 10 minutes later, we received our meals. Aside from the fact they forgot to ring up 3 of the 5 meals as combos, which they rectified quickly, we got our orders home to find the extra cheese that was asked for and paid for on some of the burgers had been missed, the fries were cold, and the burgers looked like they had been slapped together like it was rush hour in time square. Not impressed having waited 10 minutes to receive our meals on a dead quiet Sunday evening.
