Vivary Arms - Taunton

My friend reserved the bar for a little meeting and arranged a buffet. Everyone was invited, and the food was delicious and plentiful! The teenagers relaxed in the pool room, enjoying darts without any interruptions. It was a fantastic afternoon!

Really nice pub, very friendly and cozy atmosphere. was there when this guy named jules cooper saw he was really good and an abbey was from all.

I believe this pub has a lot of charm from its heyday, and it still retains some of that, but it definitely needs a decor update. One of the highlights of our visit was the warm hospitality; we appreciated their kindness and hope to return soon. Overall, it’s a very welcoming place that made us feel right at home. Thank you!

We were here 1 week after it was taken over. The owners were brilliant and so welcoming. Their son was so excited to see people and showed us to the beer garden area. This was all matched with an excellent Sunday roast dinner, in fact, the best roast we have had at a pub in all our years of trying different places. I'm sure that once the Vivary is up to speed it will be exceptional. We will be back to eat here when visiting down Taunton again. 5 stars at least.
