Beautiful environment to sit inside. sat outside tonight, beer garden chairs were comfortable, great beer. desserts were presented wonderfully and well flavored. some of the best chips! the staff was helpful and attentive. great pub.

Lovely setting, friendly staff and good value for food

It was a nice Lunch.. although my roll was a little dry. The pie my friend had was delicious. The service was quite good, although our waitress did forget to return with sugar! We had a wonderful time bringing the whole family to this welcoming pub. The food was excellent, the location beautiful, and the atmosphere was lovely. We can't wait to take more family members there soon!

"The service was quick and efficient, and the staff were friendly without being intrusive. The food was decent and reasonably priced. The restaurant has excellent windows showcasing local history and heritage, with the walls telling their own stories. The facilities are good, and it appeared to be relatively safe in terms of COVID-19 precautions. It is also very dog-friendly, both inside and in the beer garden area. There is a small, enclosed section with play equipment for young children, which is fantastic. Overall, it was a very good experience, and I would definitely recommend it."
