World's End - Taunton - Taunton Deane

This was our fourth time visiting World's End as a family. We love that they are dog-friendly and offer complimentary snacks at the bar. My wife, who is gluten intolerant and vegan, often struggles to find suitable options when dining out. However, the staff and chef went above and beyond to accommodate her dietary restrictions by preparing a delicious butternut squash and avocado burger. The fish and chips were also excellent. The atmosphere at the restaurant is cool and relaxed. We look forward to returning in August.

I highly recommend this restaurant for its excellent food, reasonable prices, and lovely ambiance. It is advisable to make a reservation in advance as it can get quite busy.

It was disappointing that the otherwise delicious vegan chickpea burger could only be served in a brioche bun that contained both eggs and milk, which meant I couldn't have the sandwich. As a result, I paid the same price for just one burger, without any additional salad and no alternative bread option offered. The waitress mentioned a different type of bread roll, but didn't seem very enthusiastic about me trying it, so I decided to go without. Overall, I found my meal to be pleasant but not particularly great. The other dishes at the restaurant were good, but as a vegan, I felt like I was missing out once again. It would be nice to see more vegan options that cater to different dietary needs.

I would have carved better, but the waiting time for food was too long and it seemed not enough to be personal to deal with the volume of customers.

Table was in quiet alcove, but our elderly guests found it rather chilly by the window. Service was friendly and good, food was ok not amazing though. It is a big place so we go here when we've left it rather late to book elsewhere!
