Star Flower Italian Pizza - Taunggyi

We were looking for a place to have something else than rice and noodles. And we found it. Once we came in, we were greeted by very friendly owners. We ordered pasta house made, fresh and very tasty. We also had fresh juice from strawberries as it is a strawberry season and with a first swallow we were back in childhood

The pizzas and pasta are beautiful, but the local food here is even better and there are many veggie options that can be very rare for Myanmar. More importantly, however, the staff is so beautiful. My girlfriend was sick for a few days while we stayed in Nyaung Shwe, so I came here for dinner on my own three or four times and they were so nice that they even opened the restaurant again when I appeared late and cooked a meal of scratches! Couldn't recommend it anymore.

Great service, they serve you tomato basil bruschetta as starter and free fruit desserts. They also bring a candle light onto the table once you've seated, that's really appreciated. Pace of serving was also good and they are observant. The food itself is nothing to write about, taste not too western nor Italian, just something to fill your stomach with and they're overpriced. But would come back for the service, and maybe myanmar food

Fresh Basil, they do their home with Pesto. We tried the house made gnocchi pesto, excellent! I don't know if it's because we were in low season, but for 5000 I got good Gnocci plate, plus free bruschetta free water bananas for dessert

Pizza is delicious. Pasta is delicious. The beer is cold. Staff is the perfect example of hospitality in Myanmar. Nothing else to say, definitely recommend when you eat pizza or pasta.
