Lo Gat - Tarragona

Relaxed and convivial evening in a non-touristy small restaurant. The staff went out of their way to explain dishes and local customs and we had a great evening with good food and wine. Can recommend if you want a more local experience in Part Alta at a reasonable price.

I went with a few other friends, we had an amazing time. The owner is very friendly and was interested in our experience. The deco inside is really peculiar but very nice. Definitely more geared towards a younger crowd. Very good value for money, would definitely go back. The waitress was also very charming and efficient.

Lo Gat (The Cat) is an easy-going restaurant located in the old-town part of Tarragona. It is mainly focused in kind-of-toasts topped with a very long list of ingredients. I recommend the Calexico toast. You can also can have salads. Wine list is just OK. Come here to have a casual and cheap dinner, with friends or partner. BTW, the owner is extremely friendly.

El servicio exquisito, muy atentos y rápidos, en una localización bastante agradable. Un menú bastante amplio y con muy buenas opciones. Recomiendo experimentar un poco con las tostas.

Muy amables. Sin pretenciones, pero calidad-precio muy bien. Volveremos.
