Four of us off a cruise for the day. We were picked up by our private guide from Rome Driving Tours, Daniele. After touring, he took us to Nonna Piña for lunch. We had wonderful appetizers. We had fantastic prosciutto, bruschetta, tomatoes, sundries tomatoes, cheese, honey, salami. There was more than enough for five of us (we invited Daniele to join us. Then we had three types of pasta. All three were delicious. We were then brought dessert and the delicious creamy limoncello. We enjoyed a wonderful meal and no one left hungry. The staff was friendly and the service was prompt. All the food is super fresh. They grow their own vegetables, the prosciutto is from their pigs, the cheese from their sheep, the olives from their trees. The house wine was very good! The prices were reasonable. Nonna Piña is in the kitchen rolling out the pasta dough and cooking. We were very happy that she came out to visit with us and take pictures. It is a small place so I would suggest calling ahead for reservations.

[hidden link] This restaurant seemed to be in the middle of nowhere and our small group were the only ones there (well, it was end of October, end of season). The food was fresh, really good and plentiful. Mother (chef) and son were gracious and served a beautiful table. Everyone enjoyed the home made wine, honey, fresh cheese, olives from their trees and fresh olive oil. It was the kind of experience you hope you will find in Italy. We thank our driver, (DriverinRome, Tino) for this stop.
