We arrived for a late lunch and had a rocky start with the host, who seemed inattentive until we spoke up, and his comments weren't helpful. After a 30-minute wait, we decided to grab a drink at the bar. Luckily, two seats opened up and we were warmly welcomed by Melissa, the bartender, who provided excellent service throughout our visit. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was pleasant. We also ordered a bakery sampler to go and had a wonderful afternoon.

Okay, so, they're not open before 10a on a Saturday...which seems unusual, but honestly not much about the sponge docks is at this early time? we returned and bought some baklava to enjoy the next morning with coffee and it was almost perfect! the personal must be used to dealing with large masses, although we were only 2 out of 4 people/customers in the bakery when we were there. they were simply inhuman and almost robotic. but since we were only there to get baked, really. they can not expect much more! would return.

The restaurant closes at 9pm, not at 5pm! Come visit this little slice of Greece in Florida.

Hellas was the first restaurant I visited on my trip to Tarpon Springs and it was an excellent choice. The restaurant offers a wide variety of Greek dishes that are beautifully presented at affordable prices. I really enjoyed my pastitsio while my friend loved her gyro sandwich. The highlight of our experience was the exceptional service provided by Amber. She made sure we had everything we needed, recommended dishes, and provided information about the menu.

Wide variety of Greek food and also had some other choices for those that don't prefer the delicious Greek offerings. Service was wonderful, even though they were quite busy. Enjoyable dinner experience.
