I'm really glad I'm here. this place leads veganism in a country where people think that they are either physically or mentally ill when not eating meat. the owner is a great man, an activist within the national animal right movement wants to show Bolivian citizens that vegetarian/vegan eating is a) tasty, b) nutritious and c) they are not hungry. and he makes a pretty good job there. during the week a vegetarian lunch buffet is served, most of which are vegan. unlimited, including drinks. it costs about 4 dollars, which could be a lot in bolivia, but for everyone out of the country, of course, it's nothing. the place is trendy and attracts a young art hipster crowd. I would stay in tarija for longer to eat here more often.
Yesterday we ate in this sensational restaurant and we love it. the free buffet includes food, juice, mate and coffee. the food is distributed in salads and hot dishes. yesterday habia, tacos, curry vegetables with rice and wheat soup. All very rich. the rate is 25 Bolivians.
This is my favorite lunch place in Tarija. They offer a warm buffet along a cold one. Free drink. Free coffee/mate. The owner lived in europe and made it into a place with a unique taste. Wood covered walls with black and white pictures of artists. Nice and friendly staff. I can't stop eating there, it is the only good vegetarian place in this city !! Only missing thing: internet.
The restaurant offers delicious food and has a welcoming staff. The interior decor has an alternative style with nice artwork, creating a cozy atmosphere.
