Yumyum Shop - Tarboro

Food was very good, but have not been able to catch the place open in the last 2 weeks.

The yum yum shop has been a staple in wolfeboro for ages. I'm so glad a Good Samaritan stepped in and kept them going.I love the glassed and Boston cream donuts and cookies!

I'm usually not a huge fan of gingerbread cookies but these were delicious. They were soft, chewy and the perfect amount of sweetness. Their yeast donuts were to DIE FOR. They were so fluffy and light. I just couldn't get enough. This place wasn't too busy as we went during the offseason and there weren't many shops open. It's a great place to grab some snacks on the way up for a hike or to see foliage.

NOT for the sweet tooth challenged!!You've been warned.During a charity event, I may have overdone it. I ordered what must have been over 100 cookies, and 9 pies ranging from strawberry rhubarb, blueberry, and the other's that didn't last long enough for me to even see what they were.Kids and grand kids descended from the ether, leaving only the hollow husks of cardboard boxes in their wake, and the sense of utter desperation for more.

This bakery has been here since I was a little girl . I am 72 so that is a long time. I do not get to Wolfboro very often but when I do I could not imagine not visiting it here. Everything is so fresh and so tasty . You have to try it to believe how good everything is .
