La plancha - Tarbes

Good atmosphere on a Saturday evening, busy and close to where we were staying.The waiter was friendly and our starters were OK, razor clams (s little rubbery) and whitebait ( soggy).sangria was pleasant tho.Unfortunately the Dourade was not available, so we ordered the Tataki Tuna which was not good, the fish was tasteless and the vegetables were soggy. Too much sesame oil overpowered everything and it was very sweet and cloying. We were unable to eat it and sent it back. The waiter did offer us something else but unfortunately our taste buds were spoilt .I did order a dessert , a "colonel" whisk was fine.When we went to pay they had forgotten to add the colonel to the hill which we told them about. Perhaps we were too honest!. There was no attempt to make a goodwill gesture regarding the main course, even though we said it was inedible. We didn't expect not to pay but any good restauranteur would have offered a deduction or drink on the house. All they could say was " you ordered it" ! I think if two people find something inedible it probably is. Now having read some of the reviews.....maybe they are more interested in serving cocktails than food. Very disappointing.
