Malabar Coffee Tarakan

Famous cafe in Tarakan. Crowed at night. The band and singer somehow too loud, it took long time for our food to come, the order seems unorganized bcs they dont list the menu on the table, so any additional order will not be listed but they just deliver it to you, not checking wheter all order has been delivered or not. But the ambience is quite good.

There is almost no wrong choice at this restaurant. I found most of the dishes on the menu to be delicious. My favorite was the Gado Gado. The ambiance was pleasant, with plenty of space and good ventilation - something important during the pandemic. The staff were friendly and worked hard to ensure our order was taken care of efficiently. The prices were also quite reasonable.

It is highly recommended café in Tarakan city. It offers pleasant atmosphere, variety of delicious food and drinks menu.

This restaurant is a gorgeous spot with an open layout and stunning decor. They offer a wide variety of coffee from different regions of Indonesia, all single origin. The only thing missing might be a bit more passion in the atmosphere. There is live music and the crowd is friendly. The food is also quite good.
