Love! Love! Love the cabin and it's owners and staff. Andy, Mrs. Lisa, Mr. Joe, Amanda, Shane, and the rest of the crew treat everyone like family. The food is ALWAYS hot and delicious. My absolute favs are the Log Cabin Fries, Ribeye Sandwich and Mrs. Lisa's homemade Red Velvet Cake. The specials are also always banging. If you come through Tar Heel by way of HWY 87 and don't stop by, you're missing out.
I've ate there couple of times. Always good food and good service. Family atmosphere. Reasonable prices and good size portions
If you like old fashioned cooking this is the place. Great southern cooking
Food was terrible. Honestly, a 10 year old could of made my Alfredo better than the so called bragged about chef. Noodles weren't completely cooked and the sauce was straight from a jar. There was nothing to add flavor to my dish but costed $18! $18 ...I could of gotten better food in the frozen section at the grocery store. Total bill for 2 was over $40. Never again! Kid-friendliness: There's animals to look at while you wait that extra time to get your food for the out
