La Jefa botanero rustico mexicano

Visited twice and received good food and service both times. I like this concept to offer a small dish with every drink. Although Tapachula is not exactly a tourist hotspot and most customers are locals, it is great for those of us who make it to the city to taste a variety of Mexican dishes. If I ever find myself in Tapachula, I'll visit La Jefa again.

There were two visits to try the food in La Jefa. We were surprised to learn that the food is served only until 6:00. After this time, they obviously focus on a bar with many drinks specialties. The food was worth the second trip! Good service, though it was pretty busy when we arrived at 3:30 on the second day. My son got the Tacos (educated), even if he had ordered Queensidillas. He decided not to complain and was happy with his meal. The grilled meat had an amazing taste. We'll remember this place.

You order a drink and get a small portion of meat or seafood or tacos. If you are hungry, just order a normal portion in addition, it will still be great value. It was empty when we had lunch, but I guess it gets packed later. Great pub atmosphere.

Definitely worth trying,good beer,fresh tasty mexican food,very clean and friendly servive,great experience overall.
